1. Senior Topic: Soccer & Performance
2. Problem in my topic: Soccer players getting injured during a game in the leg area with either bone fractures or torn ligaments. I am going to observe 2 different groups of players and see what they do to prepare themselves for the game. one group will do things in a certain order while the other group will do them in a random order. At the end I will calculate how many injuries each group had.
3. Problem in my topic: There are very many people who play this sport at a high competitive level worldwide without playing professionally, making it harder to stand out amongst other players by just being "good" from an athletic point of view and make it to the highest levels of competitive soccer, which are college soccer and playing on a professional team. To solve this problem I would need to look up some professional soccer players' stories of how they made it the the highest of all competitive levels, or interview some players and compare and contrast the different factors among them to see which were the most consistent that lead them to play at the highest ranks of soccer competition.
